Low carbon CQ. Tighter tolerances than HR P&O. Takes stamping, spinning, bending, light drawing, spot welding, painting, and electroplating without complaint. The workhorse of flat-roll steel.

We stock temper-passed for better surface and tighter tolerances than mill-direct. Soft enough to bend flat on itself in any direction without cracking. Good structural material at a lower price point than cold rolled.

Hot-dipped zinc coating — G-30, G-60, and G-90 weights in stock. Forms without flaking or peeling. RoHS compliant available. The most economical corrosion-resistant flat-roll you can buy. We move a lot of this for HVAC and construction.

USS Posco product — a hot-dipped galvanized that substitutes for electro-galv at a better price. Ultra-smooth, uniform finish. Higher corrosion resistance than A591. Superior conductivity. RoHS compliant, fingerprint-resistant G-30 coating.

Zinc coated by electrolytic deposition — very smooth, no spangle. Phosphate and chromate coatings available, with or without fingerprint resistant (FPR/AFP). Forms, rolls, and stamps without flaking. The standard for electronics cabinetry and precision enclosures. RoHS available.

Heat-treated after coating — zinc-iron alloy, no spangle. Paints easily with minimal prep. Welds better than hot-dipped products. A40 and A60 coating weights, available oiled or dry. The go-to for automotive body panels and anything that needs paint.
